OPERATION 2014!HAPPY NEW YEAR?YES!

Happy new year.Over the years i have learned that it seizes being a new year when i get to meet you for the second time between jan and April.If ibumped into you in mid march and that is the first time i am seeing you that year,then i would greet you in the name of"happynewyear"P
My friend back at artlifeneema.blogspot.com has come up with a list of 100 things she wants to accomplish this year,that is ambitious for me ,i will remember to follow her up on this story in like 04months time to see how she is doing in that regard..it will be fun to hear.I personally havent written down a list but i think i should just write my desires and requests fo this year in my 2014 all important stuff journal,it will be fun to read through come December this year.One of the things that i have intentionally done in this new year was to deactivate my facebook account,not that i was super active,or an addict,but lets just say fbk has power:)D,so my main reason for this is so that i make good use of my cell phone,i want to get the phone and dial a friend's number and just hit vybe,and vice versa.I do not want to be complacent with seeing your fb status update,your selfie photos,your tagged photos some of your wall posts,like some,comment on others and assume that you are well,that we are still friends,that im uppdated on whats cutting in your life coz of foursquare"fridz checked in at jkia arrival lounge,so yah!!one my 2014 activities is to be less on fb n more on my phone calling and texting..so far soooooo goooood,this far i have visited with a few,i have texted n called n i have been visited and yeeeah,it feels sooo nice and fullfilling:)bonding and catching up,i love fellowship.Toast to a year of NOT FORSAKING FELLOWSHIP!

Project Merry-go-round...I want to accomplish two things that are major for me and they require mony like more than 20k..so what i did i got 05pals,sold to them the idea of a chama/merry go round..5k per month 06 ladies..meaning you get 30keach twice a year..i can hardly wait for this to be fruitful n for me to fullfill my goals.

Project Titus2:One of the verses that is close to my heart)T2),so this year,i intentionally got together a few of my younger lady friends and started a bible study with them,we shall strictly be meeting once in every two months for a time of sharing,bonding and praying((( but how can you be the salt if you never get out of the shaker,the light if you are covered with a bushel basket,and the leaven if you never get into the loaf?Its time to let God fully have his way with us..

AN EGG,A CARROT AND COFFEE

Story

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her.

She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.

Have you ever felt that way?

-- Job 14:1 Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.

Her mother took her to the kitchen.
She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire.
Soon the pots came to boil.

In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil, without saying a word.

In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners.
She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl.
She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl.
Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl.

Turning to her daughter, she asked, "Tell me, what you see?"

"Carrots, eggs, and coffee," she replied. Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots.

She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it.
After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg. Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, "What does it mean, mother?"

Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity ... boiling water. Each reacted differently.
The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak.
The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened.

The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water.
"Which are you?" she asked her daughter. "When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond?
